Three Keys of Happiness
By Sheena Ye
Know YourselfStop trying to change who you are in order to please others. Know who you really are on the inside and how far you want to go. Know your flaws, and embrace it as part of your uniqueness. Set goals and set limits to what you want to achieve as a person, so you know what road to take as you grow.
|
Love YourselfBe confident and ignore the negativity thrown at you. Self acceptance is the only type of acceptance you need in order to be happy. You cannot expect others to love you, if you don't love yourself first. So the next time you look in the mirror, lift up your chin and love the person you see.
|
Treat YourselfReward yourself once you set goals and accomplished them. For me this would mean taking a nice long bath after a week of school. Relax, release tight muscles, and clear your mind of all thoughts. I also recommend going out to a nearby cafe, drinking something warm, going shopping, anything to take your mind off of the stress in your life.
